The Halogenerator is an electronic device in charge of emulating the existing conditions inside the mines or natural salt caves through the micronization of rock salt.
With it we can create clouds of saline aerosol inside the salt caves in which more than 80% are microparticles between 1 and 5 microns.
Inhalation or exposure to the skin of these microparticles will produce a multitude of benefits in respiratory and skin processes in an environment of total relaxation.

Inside a natural salt cave, different degrees of saline aerosol concentration coexist naturally generated by the interaction of air (humidity and temperature) with the polycrystalline saline surface of the salt walls that cover it.
In them the concentrations of saline aerosol are very variable, and cannot be controlled for its constant dosage.
To solve this problem, research began in the 1970s to create a device that would create a controlled microclimate with which to establish a saline spray dosage.
In 1976, the first Halogenerator was developed, which reproduced the conditions of salt mines and caves. It is the birth of Halotherapy.
At present and thanks to the computer age we can speak of Controlled Halotherapy with the creation of third and fourth generation rooms where the control of temperature, humidity, particle size and concentration is of great importance.
The Halogenerator will be the one that performs the micronization of sodium chloride with precision in the appropriate sizes on a constant basis and then project them into the room with the concentration levels that we program in each session.
Likewise, it will control the renewal and extraction of air from the Halotherapy room, which is so important to emulate the microclimate of a natural cave.
Some centers advertise with facilities where they claim to offer Halotherapy, but do not have a Halogenerator in them.
It must be made clear that:
They may have salt as a decorative element on the walls and floors, but Halotherapy can only be carried out by projecting micronized salt into the air of a room adapted for it, and the Halogenerator is the only one capable of performing this function.
The basic principle of operation of our Halogenerators is based on the micronization of the salt that is then projected into the Salt Room / Cave for inhalation through the respiratory tract or its exposure to the skin.
The mechanism consists of three essential elements.
1 / Salt deposit with a dispensing motor with which to adjust the amount of rock salt to be used during the Halotherapy session.
2 / The grinder in charge of crushing / micronizing the salt at very high speeds for later use.
3 / The Fan in charge of projecting the micronized salt into the Salt Room / Cave.
Its operation is as simple as turning it on, pouring the salt into the tank and pressing the start button.
